There are many factors to consider when it comes to making a webshop, including design, scale of the project, payment solutions & many more. Most people conduct some basic research on the internet to try to form an opinion about what is best for them before they contact us; that’s why we don’t have any fixed approach to the work.
If you decide to engage in a webshop project with us, you are assured of a Personal and creative touch to your business website.
In general, we use Open Source solutions as much as possible, so you are not forced into a specific company’s universe. You are not bound by monthly fees or hosted solutions which do not let you take your business with you if you want to try something else. If you still prefer something like Shopify, but just need someone to help setting it up we can do that.
Often it makes good sense to keep you webshop in a mimimalistic, Scandinavian/Japanese design, as a clean and well organised webshop page makes your products better stand out.
Our preferred webshop solution is WooCommerce. It is a solid, well-proven system, free and open source, scaleable, expandable, with millions of users. Most CMS/webshop system works in the same way and are only different in the details.

As mentioned above, we work with WooCommerce, which is a free & widely-used ecommerce system. WordPress / WooCommerce has many good templates we can use as a starting point & thousands of plug-ins that can extend its functionality, many of which are free. We are experts in WordPress & can even Custom Develop or change the plug-ins you want.
The payment solution you choose must be compatible with WooCommerce as a plug-in. As WooCommerce is one of the most popular webshop systems, most well known payment providers will have that. In general we prefer Stripe & use this ourselves.
PayPal is the easiest solution since you do not need to apply for a merchant agreement, but simply open a business account & assign/verify bank account & credit card information. But your customers will leave your website to pay on a Paypal page, which has another design & is not integrated into your website. This is known to reduce the sales & is in general not looking very professional.
